I sent my sim family off to meet the Sutton-Cliffords (Suttons, really, because Sutton-Clifford was too long for the game #everydayracism) before Alastair's birthday so I could age up the twins alongside him. Not only had they had a third kid in the meantime, Alastair decided literally as they arrived that he was going to go through the "I'm a bear!" phase.
The fastest way to get through the "I'm a bear!" phase is apparently to have the rest of the family dress up as bears and positively interact with the kid, leading to this unhinged moment in which Zachary (green bear) is spending tummy time with the third Sutton-Clifford (whose name I don't remember because I plan on changing it) while Zane (yellow bear) helps Alastair (purple bear) with his homework and the rest of the Sutton-Cliffords act like this is absolutely totally normal.

This little asshole is Jordon Holcombe. He got invited over for a slumber party, only to immediately start tagging up the grass. Oh my god, when you direct a sim kid to help build a treehouse with their parents they end up standing there shouting orders in their tiny little squeaky voice while holding blueprints XD

Oh no. I made a couple of sims for the sole purpose of giving them a kid the same age as my sim kid because at the moment there's a grand total of (1) child in the entire world and he'll be a teen by the time my toddler hits childhood.

Meet James (Jimmy) Sutton and his partner, Benjamin Clifford (the Third). I started with Jimmy, but then his stupid ass farm-boy face ended up adorable and the randomiser gave him the goofball, foodie, and athletic traits. Which I might've been able to ignore, except when I went to make his partner they kept end up too...model hot? Like, he's dopey cute, but I could not seem to make guys without cheekbones that could cut glass and it was bugging me.
Until I went with it. Benjamin Clifford III is an ambitious, perfectionist snob with aspirations of being a Renaissance sim (Jimmy wants a big, happy family). Their party clothes are basically the same as their day clothes, Jimmy is just wearing his "good" jeans while Benjamin's sole concession to informality is that his chinos are relaxed fit.
Unfortunately, their genetics mesh absolutely terribly, so I will very likely not be marrying my kid sim off to the kid next door XD They're cute though, even if their babies are strange looking.
