My main question is how is he managing to get a catholic divorce(s)…

the fact that lestat is so much colder and crueler in claudia’s recollections than in louis’….the fact that she can hear louis’ thoughts but not lestat’s so they will always have that distance between them…louis being her dad but lestat being her uncle….the fact that her and lestat are so much alike in so many ways and she doesn’t even know the extent to which they’re the same….the fact that they both experienced abuse at the hands of their guardians….the fact that they both didn’t/couldn’t choose the vampiric lifestyle…the fact that they both experienced trauma surrounding their human lover….the fact that they relish the power of vampirism and killing in part as a means to cope with that trauma…..if only they could talk about it…..if only things were different……….
