Been a hater of Mike Flanagan since Hill House - he is scared of the gothic, he is scared of the implications of abuse within the family unit, he cannot fathom a narrative that does not spell itself out in a monologue - killing him with hammers!!!!! i was unbelievably stoked to get a gob commission. one thing about me. and i don't need to say this and i probably SHOULDN'T say this. but one thing about me is that i was severely depressed in college. and for a solid.... three months? i would watch the gob bluth bi bi bi edit on youtube at least twenty times every day. i was hopelessly dependent on the gob bluth bi bi bi edit. i'd watch it when i woke up, as soon as i got back from class, as i was sobbing and hitting my head against the wall..... i was so obsessed with the gob bluth bi bi bi edit i'd start crying in ANTICIPATION of getting to watch it. anyways.
