As you can see the project changed drastically from these initial designs, mostly thanks to our team leader Darren Menorath smoothing everything out and taking our initial ideas and making a cohesive style. I had a great time working with @hexdesign, @cateh123, @crumbsize, and @l0stlamp and hope we can collaborate again soon!!

Hey guys! It’s been a looooong time since I’ve posted!

This is my Honours dissertation prototype from 2015. My dissertation focused on emergence and how players are able to create stories through gameplay, even if there aren’t any stories scripted or present in the game itself.

If you’d like to give it a play:

Download it for WINDOWS or MAC

To play on Windows, just unzip and open the .exe file. For Mac, unzip and open the .app file.

Please let me know if the Mac version doesn’t work, I’m exporting it from Windows and haven’t been able to test this version.

Instructions are included in the PDF.
