This might be one of my favourite scenes from A Clash of Kings because even though it made me absolutely weep, the rawness of it speaks of such a deep love between Ned and Catelyn and GRRM did that so masterfully.

Catelyn begins to act as Lady of Seagard while Jason seeks her counsel in all matters. The pair weds in a small ceremony after Catelyn’s mourning period, their love casting a new light of hope.
