#‎ThrowbackThursday‬ - Gilbert Nightray Painting (Pandora Hearts)

Not many people know that as well as prop making and Cosplay, I actually like to paint. This is a recreation of a wonderful ink painting by artist Jun Mochizuki based on her Pandora Hearts manga and anime.

I made this way back in 2011 for my girlfriend. It’s painted using acrylic washes on a standard white canvas. This took about 3 weeks to complete. One of the more difficult painting I’ve done over the years.

I’ve made 4 paintings in total based on her works, if you would like to see more let me know and I’ll include them in a future Throwback Thursday.

My weightloss over the past 2 Years! 5 stone+ down, all thanks to the patented "EAT YOURSELF THIN" Program! It's not a real program! I just stopped eating snack all the time, ate more fish and veg and stopped going out for Nandos or pizza or something like that every other night like I was in Uni. The larger me was the result of comfort eating after a terrible time in my life, it's the heaviest I have ever been and the crazy thing is I didn't even realise how big I was until I got that picture back from my graduation. I just wanted to share this in hopes it would inspire someone else that you don't need a gym to loose weight, although it helps of course, you just need to be able to control your intake a bit. I still treat myself no doubt but you don't have to starve yourself thin. -John C. Haddock

I'm currently restoring the EDW World Championship Belt for one of the promotions I work for. It is going very well so far, it was originally all silver but I've been modding it to have new gold accents on the plates to make it stand out more over the companies other championship, the EDW Open Championship. This thing will be ready and looking its best for the biggest match in EDW history in just a few weeks time.
