Rapper Failboat is a lab experiment clone of c!Failboat created (sometime between 2018-2020) by c!Failboat's comically evil dad, Failwhale, for the purpose of... something. we still don't really know what that is other than the fact that it involved screwing with c!Fail, but yeah.

how did Failwhale achieve this in the first place? well, along with whatever you'd expect would be needed for a cloning experiment, for some reason a key component was the extracted forgotten memories that c!Fail had of canonically recording the Dirty Bubblegum Sweater diss track. this is what gives Rapper Failboat his whole... rapper schtick. but, what do I mean by extracted? well-

the nonexistent background of each cutscene in the Rapper Failboat arc is a void-like location known as the Land of Forgotten Memories, and (likely) where Failwhale got the tangible memories of DBS. what this place does is, whenever some bit or character in the Failboat channel is forgotten by Daniel Failboat The Actual Guy Not Character (and the majority of other viewers too, but mainly just Dan), they have a chance to be marooned into the LoFG and just. end up being unable to leave until they're sufficiently remembered again. screwed up.

anyways moving on, the Rapper Failboat Arc doesn't actually start until around 2021, so what was Rapper doing in that time? apparently being shipped straight back to his source that is the Land of Forgotten Memories, because Failwhale kinda abandoned him for a bit and he ended up being completely forgotten again. oops. so, reasonably, this pissed Rapper off a lot, and who do you blame but the system you're trapped in?

Rapper becomes reasonably pissed at both c!Fail and cc!Fail for being so goddamn forgetful (but not Failwhale, hmmm), and his opportunity for some sort of revenge comes in the form of a certain abrttwo LoreGod BagelBandit087 reminding Failboat about Dirty Bubblegum Sweater during Animal Crossing viewer islands and making him watch it live on stream. Chat then asks for a diss track against them because of course they would, and Fail is like "sure!".

He immediately forgets about the Chat diss track for 105 days.

However this was enough acknowledgement for Rapper to be no longer bound to the LoFG. and so he baits c!Fail to Bagel's island, does this big monologue that's so retconned it's funny, and then casually kills c!Bagel as a threat for Failboat to drop the diss track. which... he actually does! system beaten!

but then, Failwhale comes back with the milk and is like "hey wait a minute, I was gonna do something with you". and so, after a filler episode, Rapper is sent to kill c!Fail properly for Reasons. yes, c!Failboat's own canonical father sends a clone of him to kill him. but anywho this is where the Collision Crew comes in!

aka the team that Rapper built himself through multiverse shenanigans because Failwhale thought he wasn't capable. and, guess what, they actually succeed in the assassination.

unfortunately, c!Fail has plot armour, and he's revived about 10 minutes later (which was technically Rapper's fault, but that's like a whole other thing) and so Failwhale's like "FINE I'LL DO IT MYSELF" and later gets Rapper to bait c!Fail again. more plot stuff happens, and Failwhale shows up in-person for once.

but, after seeing what Rapper's been doing this whole time (in his eyes, screwing around with a bunch of randos and being an incompetent idiot), Failwhale decides that he actually didn't really need Rapper at all. so he just like... kills him?

via whatever this is. however in this case, Rapper gets to also be blessed with plot armour and is brought back to witness c!Fail beat the crap out of his comical villain dad as a giant cat. yeah the ending of this arc is really strange.

anyways, post-arc, Rapper moves into c!Fail's old Minecraft home, the Hover Base (yes they went from Animal Crossing to Minecraft, the multiverse is very real but I want to keep this from becoming two posts lol) with the Collision Crew and also c!Fail and Wincar's mom Mona, she was relevant I swear I just wanted to keep the focus on Rapper.
