You loved him wholeheartedly, You've been together for five years and was happily engaged for two of those.

But boy did game night make you want to throttle him.

Gently, of course.

"I swear if you throw that blue shell-" you cut yourself off with an enraged screech as the warning signs of inevitable doom sounded through the speakers of the living room tv.

"You jerk!" You cried out in despair, your character was just inches away from the finishing line, so close to rightfully claiming first place and to add salt in the wound, you could hear evil laughter beside you as the blue shell caught up and struck you "Come on (name), I’m catching up~" your anger rose at his teasing tone.

"YOU SON OF A- COME ON! GO!" You yelled and could only stare as your character struggled to recover from the cursed blue shell.

Bellowing laughter of victory emitted from him as he passed by your character that was once in first place, quickly followed by toad and donkey kong before you were able to finally finish the race.

You pursed your lips as the placed fourth showed up on the screen as if to further mock you.

Your eyes narrowed as Eren scooted closer, playful emerald eyes gazing at you with a happy glint shining in them and his lips pulled up into a cheeky grin.

"Come onnn, you know you can't stay mad at me forever" slowly your eyes traveled over to his with an unimpressed look in them as you fought off the grin that tried to form "Uh huh, right" he stared at you with a particular look that you knew meant trouble.

Too bad you realized it a second too late.

"Don't-" You let out an oomph as you were engulfed into a bear hug and felt him nuzzle his face into your neck, making you laugh.

"Wanna play uno?"

Traveler: "Ah, it’s a great day off"

You’ve done it, after months of being trapped, imprisoned and held against your will by a psychopath with too much time on his hands you finally got away.

You had made it out of the dreaded cabin that he vehemently insisted was your 'romantic getaway' but it was really just a way to keep you both further away from the city.

Further away from anyone willing to help you.

You cringed at the sound of leaves crunching under your feet as you ran over them, it was like they were tattling on you.

You weren’t completely free yet, you knew that, but you were so close to the edge of the forest, you could even see the street lights that were lit up like beacons.

You felt tears of relief brim my eyes at the thought of being so close to freedom.

"Stop!"

You tensed up at the voice and the sound of rushed footsteps quickly approaching you.

'What? He should still be gone cutting wood!' The cabin relied on the fire place to keep warm and that meant he almost constantly had to replenish the firewood stock.

You could feel your rabid heartbeat thumping in your chest and hear the blood rush in your veins.

With every second that passed you could hear him getting closer, his pants would get louder, the twigs snapping under his feet letting you know just how close he was which encouraged you to run even faster.

"Darling you know you can’t get away from me!" Hearing his loud booming voice brought frustrated tears to your eyes.

'He’s going to catch me...'

You couldn’t stop your body from trembling when you heard his footsteps getting closer.

'Please go away' a sob nearly forced it’s way out of your throat at the thought of being caught and having to go back to the cabin.

You were so close to freedom, so close to finally going home….

You cried out when you felt his arms snake themselves around your waist hastily yet gently, simulating a gentle embrace that lovers would give one another but this felt more like shackles then a loving embrace.

...but it was all ripped away from you.

You could feel his chest pressed up against your back, still heaving with his pants and could barely hide a cringe when you felt him lovingly nuzzle his head into the crook of your neck.

You clenched your fists tightly when you felt his victorious grin brush against your ear as he whispered devilishly into your neck.
