Welcome back to my blog.Â
So, today is my nephews birthday and I have decided to write and dedicate this post to him.
Many of us, love kids, while some do not. Thatâs okay, which ever category you fall into, lol, I understand from both angles.
It all started when my elder sister was in labor, back in Nigeria. On a normal day, my sister has always been known to be a drama queen. During her pregnancy, she was always screaming and being dramatic about being in pains. She did that some times to get attention, lol. So when she was in labor, I ignored her. I assumed it was one of her drama she was trying to act. It was 3am in the morning and I was trying to catch some sleep, âSISâ.. Like duuurhhâŚlol. But she wouldnât stop screaming and moaning. And then I realisedâŚâItâs happeningâ⌠OMGâŚWe rushed her to the hospital, for some reasons I still donât understand, I was in the labor room with her, hahaha. Atleast, I understand why some people donât want to have kids, I donât blame you guys at all. My sister was in severe pains, pulling her husbandâs shirt and throwing curses at him for putting her in that situation, hahaha. In my own case, I was in shock, seeing someoneâs head coming out of my sisters vagina. I have so many questions that has been unanswered and I guess, these questions arenât for humans, Itâs for God. Questions like, why does the child have to pass through the vagina? Why does the child even have to stay in the womanâs womb, and why do they have to stay for as long as 9 months, why canât you just throw children from the sky? Why does our vagina have to suffer? Why do we even have to suffer? Why canât the men carry their own kids by themselves? and many many more questions, hahaha. But I guess, I will wait till I get to heaven, maybe I can ask God when I see him face to face. So my nephew came, and i held him in my hands, his big black eyes and nose that looked like his fatherâs and they named him Jason.
Jason was a big baby and has always been camera- ready, lol. He was 2 weeks old in the picture above. He weighed 5.3kg at birth. We are still surprised at how my sister pushed such a big baby out of her vagina, lol.
In this picture above, Jason was 6- months old. He started sitting up right and I guess at this point he knew his name was Jason, lol.
The picture above showed when Jason started walking. He wanted to be left alone because he was so excited to walk around the park. We had to keep running after him because, you know kids⌠they are a handful.
Jason is a whole vibe and there is never a dull moment with him. He brought smiles to my face, even when I found myself in a bad mood.
Except when heâs quiet and you take his stillness for calmness, only to always find him wrecking havoc. Jason can you explain to us, why you used up all the cream on your friendâs head?
Jason turns 2 in the picture above. By this time last year, we were celebrating his 2nd birthday. Who else thought he was going to be obessed? Well, donât blame me for thinking that way. He weighed 5.3kg when he was born, hahaha.
You might just think I am Jasonâs mum, because I have too many pictures of him, even more than his mum does. I have been in his life, right from the day he was born, up until this day. I am his favorite aunty, yea, I can boldly say that. The picture above, was his first day at school, lol. Apparently, he didnât come back with one of his socks, Iâm not sure what happened in school on that day, hahaha.
Now look at my baby. He is 3 years old today. I celebrate you, Jason. You have been a blessing to me and your parents. I have learned so much since you came into our lives. I have learned to be loving, caring, patient and to be at alert cause within a blink of an eye, you could wreck havoc, hahaha. I am just an Aunty who loves her nephew so much and this is me wishing you a Happy Birthday! Aunty loves you. *kisses*
