My point is that while we’ve missed Passover, Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, and for me personally, the 100th anniversary of the congregation, “secular” governments who “care about all their people” were sitting around going, “Oh, it’s necessary to protect people, stiff upper lip and all that, press F to pay respects” and the MINUTE Christmas gets threatened, it’s a completely different story. 

Cultural Christians/people who celebrate Christmas (to stave off some yoyo in a santa hat in front of their tree shaking their head at how “christians” are like this and they’re so glad they’re not) are huge egocentric whiners, is my larger point, and I feel that is DOUBLY the point given that these same governments are giving no quarter to Hanukkah despite Cultural Christians thinking it’s the most important holiday given its proximity to Christmas.
