I actually found it through Instagram. I never really followed anyone on IG, nor do I use it anymore, but I usually browsed the feminism tags and such like that. I saw labels being used like genderfluid, agender, non-binary and was interested. I moved on Tumblr as a browser, not actually doing much on the blog. I slipped headfirst straight into MOGAI blogs, finding out just how many genders exist, and realising that gender is fluid and varied as hell. Here I could find all the MOGAI and neopronouns stuff I could ever want. I knew I was MOGAI for a while before I kicked off the blog, I made a little note of every gender I came across and decided basically none of them fit me (besides autigender, but I didn’t feel like that fit 100% of my identity, and that there was something else) so I coined the term fossilogender and decided the next best step was to actually start posting and get the term out there. Having pride flags/generally having requests centered around fossilogender helps me a lot and makes me feel more comfortable with myself and my long-lived state of questioning gender.

So um. I don’t suppose there’s any right way to go about this. I’m not Moss, I’m Tink right now.

Moss is part of a system. Moss is the host. Sil was going to mention it in fos intro post, but sil discovered the massive ‘syscourse’ between endogenic and DID systems and just general... bleh relating to systems on this site, and sil didn’t want to really get involved with that. And that was fine, because none of the other alters really wanted to be a part of this blog. (They aren’t against having a blog, just didn’t fancy showing up and chatting).

Me, well, I’m a fictive, Tinkerbell. I’m lesbian, faegender, use she/her or fae/faer pronouns, but minus that detail pretty much exact from canon, so if you know anything about me, you know I like attention, so have 0 worry about being on this blog. I’m probably here due to Moss feeling like sil received a lack of attention as a child, and also because Sil loved Peter Pan. I don’t think I’ll show up very often though. If I am I’ll let you know.

We don’t want to go into too much detail about systems and diagnosis and medication and everything. So we’ll just say enough to let others make up their mind about us: there was trauma, we are diagnosed, not all of the altars are fictives/”kin”.

And just to clarify, yes, this is part of the reason why Moss prefers to refer to fossilf as a ‘silf’ instead of a ‘self’, because it implies being one, which sil is not.

We aren’t here to start discourse. We simply decided it should be eventually mentioned at some point that there is a system here, but system-ness is not a main part of this blog, Moss never wanted it to be. If I do ever post here, feel free to think of me as just a lazy mod who rarely says anything.
