A quick and flavorful stir-fry dish featuring tender teriyaki chicken and crisp vegetables, served over pasta for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced. 1 cup broccoli florets. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 carrot, julienned. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. Cooked pasta, for serving. Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish.
Instructions: Mix the sliced chicken with the soy sauce and teriyaki sauce in a bowl. Let it sit there for 15 minutes. Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds, until the garlic smells good. The chicken should be stir-fried for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until it is fully cooked. Take the cooked chicken out of the pan and set it aside. If you need more oil, add it to the same pan and stir-fry the broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots for about 4 to 5 minutes, or until they are soft but still crunchy. Add the cooked chicken back to the pan and stir it in with the vegetables. Pour sesame oil over the stir-fry and mix it around to cover it all. Put the chicken and vegetables stir-fried in teriyaki sauce on top of cooked pasta. Before serving, top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
