You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.
By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.
I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it
but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.

HIII YES Epaulette sharks are probadly one off the coolest sea creatures i know off!! Epaulette sharks or "the walking shark" are small sharks that are usually under 1 m (40 inches) They get the nickname from their abilty to push them selvs forward or "Walk" with their fins!!
This and their ability to systemically shut down parts off their brain to save oxygen. Allows them to hunt in shallower water and tide polls. They can even walk on land during low tides for short periods off time!!! They can survive in low oxygen areas for up too 2 hours!!! They are fairly harmless for humans and dont show any fear tworads us

It even more annoying when people think he couldve survived as a deep water fish. Like theres just no consievable way.
He too fat for that. Theres no whales down there.
HAMMER HEAD SHARKS
There are 10 diffrent types off hammer head sharks! Heres some facts about my two favourites! (In no particular order)
The scalloped hammerhead!!
They are the most common type off Hammerhead shark and they can grow up too 4 feet. They can dive down too a 1000m but are mostly found near the surfice.
Winghead shark!
These sharks can be found in shallow tropical waters and they can get up to 6 feet.
Their heads can get up too half their body length! They have extremely long nostrils and are ground feeders.

I cant sleep so heres some facts about whale sharks.
Whale shark where discovered in 1828 And can be found in tropical waters. They filter feed and eat mostly plankton and small fish.
They can live up too a hundred years and the biggest whale shark observed was 18.8 meters long.
They have tiny "teeth" around their eyeballs for defense. Though they have no know predators and the biggest risk to them is illegal hunting by humans.

That isnt Blue Shark. Thats a lemon shark. ( I think. Might be a copper shark.) Blahaj is based on a real shark! The blue shark! Their one off the fastest shark species and got their name from their prominent blue color :)
