i do think simplifying video games to "you like this because you’re gay/trauma/npcwhatever" is reductive, but honestly when it comes to fighting games? based on my in-depth research (i.e. anecdotal evidence gathered over my extensive gaming career) most people do just like being women and/or getting fucked up by them
