You Are Here by Sionnuala_Ni_Cheallachain - Mohan/Abbot slowwwburn series but god I know the pay off is going to be worth it. Some delicious characterisation also.

Kingfisher by @educationalporpoises - Whitaker centric ensemble piece centred around the street team. So well written and interesting and i am in love with the author's brain

So!! Here it is! This cute couple, when they left behind the angst and the terrors, they're just adorable and happily married. Emery's the boss, and Jack is just following her orders (as he should always).

Like yes, I love the nipple to navel is a no man’s land inside joke too.

And of course the argument over a procedure while Walsh death stared him gave me the craziest idea about hate sex.

But it’s during the code tan patient when things die down that you see them for who they are to each other. The way they’re actually engaging in a conversation that is more than a look, and not just medical jargon throwing around in a fit of anger. Even in their vie for the first cut to save the man with the crushed pelvic, I never felt like Walsh conceited to Jack, because the work they did was so harmonious, it felt 50/50 in the responsibility they took, deaver retractor, gauge or scalpel.

Then afterwards was what I missed on my first watch. Walsh’s sarcasm that rolls off Jack naturally (need to make sure he doesn’t get another drop of blood). The familiarity in the way she asks about Robby. And the cheeky last look she gave him when she said “I won’t” to his “holler if you need me”?
