OPINION ON TRUE LOVE: maybe it exists, but not for everyone. love isn’t something rikku thinks is a necessity to life. sure she’s had her crushes here and there, and there are always people she could see herself with or at least pique her interest, but she’s not someone who would run headfirst into the idea of love. the only reason she really thinks true love exists is because she watched yuna live it. you always want to think your parents’ had the whole true love going on, but she knows they had their flaws. yuna and tidus, though, that was some star-crossed gushy romance straight from the books. OPINION ON LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT: no, probably not. at least, she hasn’t experienced it like you read about. your eyes lock on someone across the room, and suddenly everything is more vibrant and in slow motion? never happened to her. and, yanno, not to base everything around her cousin’s adorable romance, but she definitely doesn’t think it happened for them.  HOW ‘ROMANTIC’ ARE THEY?: a straight up whirlwind. some days she’s super affectionate, doing little things and setting up dinners and picnics and flowers and you name it. other days? she forgets she’s even dating the person she’s talking to.                     The thought of Gippal, with actual children? She wasn’t sure if it nauseated her or terrified her.

                    She rolls her eyes at the mock distress. He was always one for dramatics. Well, not that she wasn’t. But, well, never quite in a way that was quite so annoying. He purposely did it to get under peoples’ skin, and after a few years as a kid letting him do just that, she learned to ignore it. “Oh, great. Remind me to not help out on the digs in Bikanel anymore, then!” She said with a grimaced, sticking her tongue out at both the idiot machinist and his little pervy invention. There was no way she was stepping anywhere near that thing without causing a threat to it’s ability to function. Gippal, of course, wouldn’t be too happy to hear she disassembled him and chucked him into a sandstorm for making lewd comments. Honestly, she couldn’t make any promises...

                    At the next comment, her brows furrowed. “Are not! Yunie is taking a break, y’know. She deserves it.” And she had been keeping busy on her own. They all needed to go off and do their own thing every once in a while. And Paine, well, she was doing her own thing, she was sure. If she wanted them to know just what that was, she would tell them. 

                    Work, huh? She had a feeling he was trying to tease her, but she knew he wasn’t all talk. The machine faction was thriving, after all. Despite the few mishaps YRP themselves had to clean up, he was running a pretty tight ship. And Rikku, honestly, wanted to delve a little more into her roots. “Don’t forget I dismantled our best machina when they came after Yunie. And your cute little Experiment.

▸ is your muse tall/short/average? short, i guess? I’m shorter so it doesn’t feel like she is! but she’s short for a girl! She’s 5′2″ at 15 and I don’t think she grew at all when she hit 17! I stopped growing when I was 12 ljshaljhgs so I think she’s stuck at 5′2″ forever.

▸ are they okay with their height? yeah! it never really was a factor growing up, tho she’s annoyed when people use her shoulder as a resting place. :I ▸ what’s their hair like? a million braids and beads. 2 braids really just wasn’t enough, she had to go a little wild when she grew it out. Al Bhed have thick hair, so throwing a bunch of it into a bunch of braids literally did nothing to retract from how full her ponytail is. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? it... depends. she leaves the braids in until her hair’s gotten noticeably longer. then she has to spend a few hours undoing them and reassembling them to keep up with the growth. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? more than caring about her appearance, she kind of enjoys riling cid up with her outfits. she mostly cares about how her clothes will work in a fight. ▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? not at all. she’s used to being discriminated against as a group, so the way people talk about her behind her back or to her face is silly. it’s easy for her to roll her eyes and just ignore it. she probably cares more about people talking badly about her people than she is about herself.

Picket’s his own man. ” it’s not like someone had maybe programmed him to be that way. nope. not at all–    “ soooo, how’d he do? he’s a prototype, but we’re thinkin’ of takin’ him public. with a few tweaks. ” maybe a tinge less perviness. “ before you know it, everyone in Spira might have a pet machina. ” he was probably overstating what the popularity of such an invention would be, but personally, he thought Picket was pretty dang adorable. cuter than any cat or dog he ever met. but that probably made him weird. “ sure would make us a pr-e-tty penny. ” he clicked his tongue in thought. he could think of quite a few uses for a hefty chunk of gil, but the idea– and her earlier assumption– made him wonder…

  “ your dad still goin’ on about rebuilding Home? ” 

                    “You’re basically his pops, so take responsibility for it!” She huffed, arms crossed at Gippal’s totally failed attempt to save his own face. Like he didn’t intend to make a little pervy clone of a machina. Rikku knew Gippal better than to think any of this was completely out of his hands. She gave him another shove, just for good measure. 

                    “He was a creep, y’know? Nobody’s gonna wanna go on digs if this little guy - machina or not - has got his little lens focused on landyeh ynayc.” She crushed her face in an expression of disgust, gaze focused on the little machina droid hovering around the other’s head. She definitely wasn’t keen on more of these being bred... By Gippal. “I’m all for more machina around Spira - not so sure I want them to be yours.” She shrugged, sly smile slipping across her lips. The Al Bhed were finally getting their feet back on solid ground - she certainly didn’t want Gippal to ruin that in one fell swoop.

                    “Wait, wha-” It took her a second to really get where he was going with this idea, but honestly... “Yeah - He’s off on turning Zanarkand into a tourist trap, thank machina, but we know pops.” Clearly, anyone from Home knew enough to know Cid would never learn how to make an honest gil. Or any, for that matter. “I guess this could influx some gil... buuuut... He needs a lot of work.”
