-At least one partner must currently live, or have lived for 6 months within the Bruton parish boundaries. Or have some family connection ( parents/grandparents) to the parish or church or christened or confirmed in the church.
-Attended church services for 6 months habitually or at least once a month or have family ties to the church.
-Undergo "reading of the Banns" (for most couples) before the wedding which is a public announcement of your wedding for 3 Sundays at the church or elsewhere.
-Wedding must take place 3 months after final Banns are read.
-Provide passports to confirm nationality.
-Undergo marriage preparation and training hosted by the church clergy.
-The church is primarily Anglican, Church of England, but Roman Catholic Weddings can be performed.
Bruton in Somerset is about 2-3 hours from London by car or train.
