I love how calm Harry’s anger is. Eggsy’s over there getting ready to explode, he’s going in guns blazing and he’s gonna throw everything he’s got at them and react real time. Harry on the other hand, Harry knows exactly what’s going to happen. He takes a breath. He’s calm, comfortable with his anger, he doesn’t let it control him, doesn’t let it take hold. Like Merlin urges Eggsy to shed a tear only in private later, Harry knows he can get angry later, he knows by now not to use it, it makes him sloppy.

In the original version of the movie (the one where Merlin survives and that I hope to God ends up being canon in the director’s cut version Vaughn is going to release please Matthew please please please), right at the end of said Final Fight they both broke down and fucking CRIED over Merlin, until said man crawled back to them swearing up and down about them leaving him behind without a leg to stand on.
