Ya know what’s so interesting about Carol being an addict and how she interacts with the hive? It means she knows that something bad can feel wonderful. I’m sure being drunk feels wonderful I’m sure being on heroin feels wonderful. But that doesn’t mean they’re good things. Being drunk can be bad for you if you do it too often. Heroin is bad for you period. But I’m sure Carol has memories of how wonderful both things are. So the hive telling her “But you’ll feel so wonderful!” Doesn’t work on her. She knows *Feels wonderful* doesn’t mean *Is good*

This is already happening – one of the softwares used by a museum I work at only lets you talk to a human help agent if you have their premium subscription. It's such bullshit

the fact you are not the only one in these notes saying "no this is already happening; i have to pay money to speak to a representative" is just... really awesome! you said a software used by museums is doing this shit? okay! great! wonderful!! anybody know where i can scream
