Summery: The both of you are on a cruise when Clay walked into your room while lost looking for his friends.
âClay! Itâs not that hard!â George says holding back his laughter from showing.
âIâm trying!! I canât find where the hell youâre talking about!!â Clay protests his friend on the phone as he paced through the hall.
âAlright Iâm done explaining it to you! Itâs been over 10 minutes and you still canât find the room, Iâm putting Nick onâ The phone was passed onto another friend that was apart of the trip the phone.
âAlright so where exactly are you right at this moment?â Nick asked wanting his friend to actually make it back to his room which they were in.
âUuhh?âŚIâm in a hallway that has the rooms, the one Iâm right beside is 709 Nâ Clay answers waiting for directions.
But instead was met with muffled laughing âYou canât be serious?! Thatâs like several floors lower than we are!! And we arenât even in the North wing! Weâre in the west!!â Nick was barely able to finish his sentence with out laughing at the misery of his friend.
âOh fuck offâŚâ Clay sighs leaning his head back looking up at the old Fluorescent lights that lined the hallway.
âAlright alright, so what youâre going need to do is go out that hallway and then up the stairs-â Nick was cut off by the hang up tone.
Clay pulled his phone away looking to see if he was hung up on but no, even worse. His phone was dead. âFucking greatâ he mutters gritted his teeth, now to wander around hoping for anything that could help him.
Clay was pleasantly surprised on how quickly he managed to get to the West wing. Now he just had to find out what floor and room his friends are actually in.
Leaning his head against the tacky wallpaper, trying to see if he could remember the room that George had told him. Had to be less than 7 but more than 3 because those rooms are several times more expensive.
3 levels shouldnât be impossible to navigate. Hopefully. Normally heâs confident but as that heâs never been on this extremely large ship before. So obviously Clay would be fucking lost.
Clay thought to himself if that could of been the room number George originally said. Taking a deep breath he wrapped his hand on the door knob gently twisting it.
Because it was unlocked Clay assumed he had the right room but opening the door more gave him a slap in the face with reality because the odds were literally against him for getting it first try.
The person on the floor by the bed took of their headphones looking up at the complete stranger confused.
âSorry! Iâm lost and looking for my room!â Clay immediately explains himself but also giving an apology before almost closing the door.
âWait! Say that again?â They jumped up opening the door to catch him before leaving, something seemed familiar about the voice.
âUhhâŚIâm sorry about going into your room, Iâm trying to find my own roomâ Clay says once again.
âDream?â They asked wanting conformation.
âIâŚyes?âŚâ Clay spoke with hesitation, while he didnât want to just admit that to just anyone but this person could probably help him find his room, seem chill enough anyway.
âOh cool! Weâve actually played among us together, Iâm (ya twitch name) but without the voice mods. But just call me (y/n) to make it easierâ you said, if (y/n) didnât say that he really would of never been able to tell on his own.
But now hearing your voice after Clay could see some little similarities with both voices. âWell the voice mods were a smart idea to keep anonymous, works better than just not showing your faceâ he says chuckling softly.
âDonât worry! Your secret is safe with me Clayâ you say teasing slightly.
âIâll be completely honest you do look like how I was expecting you tooâ he says as you stepped out of your room closing and locking the door behind you.
âReally? I was expecting you to be tallerâ you joked with him.
âOh fuck off! What kind of name is (y/n)?!â Clay banters back laughing softly.
âItâs after my grandparents asshole, now tell when the room is before I change my mind on helping you.â You say smirking softly at him.
âItâs on the west partâŚand itâs higher than floor 7 but definitely lower than 3â he answered you.
âYou donât know what floor your room is on?â You ask.
âI wasnât paying attention! I didnât even check in myself because itâs not in my nameâ Clay sighs softly at the ends.
âDo you know Georgeâs number off the top of your head?â You ask again.
âYes, but how did you know he was with me?â Clay answers with a question after his response.
âItâs on Twitterâ you say pulling your phone out giving it to him.
âThank you so much (y/n)â he says dialing out his friends number.
âHello?â George says through the phone, normally doesnât answer calls from unknown numbers but thereâs a chance it could be his friend.
âGeorge! Okay what room are you guys in? Iâm in the North wing now and Iâm just outside of 505 on the west wingâ while Clay had been speaking fast George did understand him.
âWeâre in 613â he answers ânow do you want directions to there? Or for even Nick to come get you?â George asks Just wanting to make sure his friend didnât get lost again.
âOh nah, I actually met someone who could help me. But thanksâ Clay answers before hanging up giving your phone back to you. âAnd thank you for helping meâ he says looking at you in your eyes.
âNo problem, itâs not fun being lost on ship really late being tiredâ you reassure as the two of you started walking down to the hallway.
You lead him to an elevator he didnât even notice on his way up. Really took less than 5 minutes to get there.
Clay felt slightly embarrassed he didnât find it on his own, but heâd also he lying if he said he didnât want to meet you. What you didnât know was that Clay actually really like your streams, not only just playing them in the background while editing videos but also just for entertainment as well. He admired you, and hell he couldnât say that you werenât cute either. Just your whole personality really was kept him there. Clay really liked what you had to say and just watching your streams.
âHey soâŚI wasnât going to bed soon soâŚwould you wanna hang out for a little bit?â He asked you before even touching the door.
âOh sure! Sounds funâ you say with a smile, itâs not like the feeling wasnât mutual.
