When Will The Darkness Leave Me?

Or is she just being friendly?

Usually, my patients people send them in, but sometimes, their people’s people get them fixed up as a gift.  The hospital is currently filled with patients for Christmas… This is the story of one from last year.

Teddy’s person’s person wrote:

This is my wife’s ‘Teddy’. She has had it ever since I have known her from high school. We have been together for 19 years and I know that Teddy has helped her when I have deployed overseas to the Desert as an Air Force pilot. She was very sad when we found Teddy was mistaken for one the dog’s chew toys.

We agreed that a spa, followed by sewing of wounds and a small fur transplant for bald spots as well as new eyes would be the way to go.  Here’s Teddy starting the spa:

And here are the approval photos I sent his person’s person to approve treatment and chubbiness (yes, he’s sitting on a bag of stuffing):

Teddy’s person’s person wrote:

Looks great! I think he is just the right amount of fluffiness. I love that his fur doesn’t look new. I was a little worried looking at other websites of the complete transformation of some bears. They look like they lost some character. But this looks perfect! 

Teddy made it home and his person’s person decided to hold him for his wife’s birthday, just after Christmas.  Then he wrote:

Today is E’s birthday and she opened the package that had her Teddy all repaired. It was a great success! She loved it and was very touched with all the care you provided to him.

And the following day, he wrote a truly lovely review for me to share.  Here is a bit of it:
