Remember how in Yellowfang's Secret they had a plot point about a cat who was forced to have a litter she didn't want and every time she tried to get some support or sympathy from others she was met with complete dismissal because 'what kind of woman doesn't want to be a mother'? I do.

Really experimental piece, I've never done any sort of collage thing like this! Lizardstripe, the border swirls, and the 'cherubs' drawn by me, all the cutout pieces come from Mother's Day/baby shower cards or free-to-use PNG tumblr blogs. Black and white text is a direct quote from her in YS.

so I know you’ve said before that jumalanpelko isn’t a warrior cats fanfic or anything … u

but I was wondering if like the farm where kuutamo lives was a little inspired hehe- the Rule and the spring festival def gave me wc vibes :)

Jumalanpelko over all is ofc inspired by warriors to some degree, it just is not a warriors fan comic nor is it highly inspired by warriors (like it was at no point a warriors fan comic/au/ect). Kuutamo's family is not inspired by warriors more or less than other stuff in Juma.

The Rule is just a thing I thought cats living like this would have to lessen fighting and it would be a great way to show differences in culture between the cult and cats outside of it. I think it is a great way to show how much harder life without Her is. It is not really inspired by Warrior code and is more a courtesy thing.

Spring, Summer and Autumn festivals are a bit more inspired by Warriors. They aren't straight up gatherings tho, I just like the idea of cats meeting somewhere and doing their own weird little party thing. It has a very mysterious vibe. Festivals are celebrations and way more relaxed and less formal than Warriors gatherings, since the colonies/families do not have the same cold attitude towards each other
