hello! out of curiosity, since when has wlb been in the works? as in were the characters specifically created to be made into a comic, or was it an oc first comic next situation?

I binged the entire 900-something pages of this comic and now I’m frothing at the mouth for the next page

Have you ever received hate for your comic? (Wlb in specific) if so how do you deal with it?

How long has WLB been going for?

With Jumalanpelko’s first physical print launching, I just want to say I am very excited for the day WLB comes to print as well. It is something so incredibly special to be able to hold a comic that means so much to you in your hands. I think it’s wonderful that more comic artists are finding the means to go this route. I love the webcomic community despite it all and I dream of a day I have part of my shelf dedicated to my favorite webcomics. I know not every comic artist has the means, publishing a book is expensive and hard, but I love that that’s an option that’s out there. Everyone keep creating, there are people who love your works so much they want to hold them close!!

Hey, I've been following for some time, but I'm notoriously bad at commenting on comics, and usually just lurk (hah). But anyway, I was getting mad about Gull existing again while reading the latest page, and I just wanted to share a thought that I HOPE comes across as a compliment, because that's what I mean it as. I feel like what makes Gull so delightfully infuriating (compliment) is how real she feels. Like sure, you can have a terrible, no-good, evil character in a story, but if they don't have any dimension to them, nor any traits beyond "I'm mean for fun haha >:)", like someone who could actually exist, it's so much harder to take them seriously. Gull over here not only feels like someone that you could personally know, like your racist grandma who goes to church on Sundays and bakes everyone cookies, but then interrupts Christmas dinner to say how she thinks getting rid of lynching was a mistake, but she is also clever and is shown to be a credible threat through her manipulation of Trout. Idk. I love to hate her. I will be satisfied if she gets karma in this comic and devastated if she doesn't (in a normal way, not in a I'm-gonna-harass-the-author way). Anyway, I think it's a show of extremely good writing for someone to have made a character that makes me, and so many others, go "oh my god not this stupid old hag again. Someone smack the shit out of her, please." I hate her a lot. She's great. So are all your other characters. Keep up the good work.
