I want to talk about one thing I’ve really liked from tsctir so far and that’s Han yoojin in battle
He’s not really all that strong but he’s been in business for a while and his experience is really where he shines. Either from clever tricks to items to simply knowing how to counter his opponent we can really see his thought process in battle and his quick reaction time to create an engaging fight. It’s definitely refreshing to see someone play with their experience like this compared to either completely avoiding combat and leaving it up to others or only relying on powerful objects or op skills to one shot things. While it’s sort of similar to what Han yoojin does like I said they’re more tricks used to propel the action rather than what carries the fight.
And honestly it’s rarer for the mc to be well adapted to fighting in general often being rather new to it (at least in my reading/watching experience) so reading from a veterans position is quite refreshing. It’s also fun to see how he uses his experience to help others in battle(like when he ends up fighting with the main cast occasionally) being able to see where they can improve and what they excel at as well as matchups between fighting styles.
Hes well adapted to fighting and he efficiently uses that to his advantage in creative and reasonable ways every time making up for lack of attacking skills (at my point in the novel) and as I said before his physical capabilities.

An aspect that yoohyun overlooked when it comes to Yoojin's marriage prospect is that when he keeps on threatening, intimidating and blocking every single lover potential that comes across Yoojin's way, all that's left is exactly one (1) person that could withstand all of that —Sung Hyunje.
This is also the reason why Han Yoojin can let down his walls a bit around him. With other people he cares about he worries about them and doesn't want to burden them, meanwhile Sung Hyunje has not just made it clear he wants to hear those things but is also so absurdly persistent in asking about him that it goes from "I shouldn't burden someone with this" to "if he's going to be so annoying about it then he deserves it if it weighs him down (which it probably won't because he's so annoying 🙄)" which like.... circles back to my other repost where I was talking about how insane it is that SHJ managed to overcome HYJ's ingrained trauma responsive behaviors by literally just being annoying and pushy.... anyway, that one fish is there for a reason. It's so he can put him in a fish bowl in his bedroom (where he will definitely not watch him sleep)
Yeah fr 😭 the most difficult thing for all of his kids is to acknowledge that he will never rely on them like that. And I mean... being able to extort Sung Hyunje is crazy as is, much less it being a pleasant and constructive part of their relationship lmfao. The kids are definitely like "I don't get it, but it makes him happier/healthier so..." RIP to Yoohyun's hyung monopoly 😔

To celebrate Han Yoojin's birthday, I fan translated the free official S-Classes game written and created by Geunseo! It contains spoilers for the manhwa and light spoilers for the novel, but it's original content that is not directly related to the plot of either.
It features multiple character routes, each with multiple endings. I'll also post guides sporadically on how to get each ending.

His literal actual superpower is being the universe's best parent <- this sentence is SO MUCH truer that it looks like but i can't say more because spoilers.
Han Yoojin propaganda: Multiple people called him their "breeding partner" because he agreed to raise their monster babies for them.
He's constantly being manhandled by people (both men AND women) that are much taller than him and buff AF because they're obsessed with him/his abilities. (The main one literally just being the ability to be the best parent in the universe.)
HYJ's ideal type in canon is someone who is older than him, tall, and muscular. (The majority of people who manhandle him throughout the series fall into this category.) He secretly wants a partner who is willing to protect him because he hasn't had anyone to fill that role for him since he was a child. He's had to be almost completely self-reliant and raise his little brother, by himself, from a very young age.
Also, he takes a part of another man into his body to create a child. That child ends up looking almost exactly like their other dad, who is HYJ's "business" partner, because he thinks he has the most perfect face in existence and he subconsciously wanted the kid to take after the other guy in appearance.

SCTIR Cherry Magic AU where SHJ is a 38-year-old virgin, so he has been able to read other people's minds (if he has skin contact with another person) for the past 8 years.
Then he meets HYJ who is always internally complimenting his looks, but always in a very annoyed/irritated way, instead of a fawning tone. SHJ find this very amusing and entertaining, so he constantly tries to find excuses to touch HYJ.
It's incredible how all of the censorship on the modern internet doesn't actually seem to be making society kinder or more wholesome hmm maybe there's a lesson in this
and another rant i have built up over jinjae is their everything around food. the first instance i can remember is the courtesy chocolates SHJ brings HYJ after the Babar dungeon, when he's in the hospital (chapters 80/81), which he says is for HYJ due to the stress he must be feeling over HYH. and then immediately kills any goodwill in the very next sentence by going Wowww you're so useful and i'd love to acquire you etc etc. HYJ's not even the one who accepts them from SHJ, that's BYR, and later HYJ says he only eats them because he has nothing better to do (no other option than SHJ, huh...) and even then the Dokkaebi ends up eating half the box. gift that's barely accepted.
the next instance i can think of is post-human trafficking auction in chapter 127 where SHJ makes him eggs, but. well. literally as he's cooking they have this exchange:
(this got so fucking long i had to put it under a cut. takes your hand come with me on this journey)
[SHJ] “I’d like for you to stay unharmed until I grow bored. Mentally, I mean.”
[HYJ] “And my body doesn’t matter?”
[SHJ] “If your bulk decreases, you’ll be easier to carry around.”
so "i'm making food for you" but also "i don't care if your health deteriorates and/or you lose weight, as long as you're useful". an interesting combination of messages to send, given that HYJ's also struggling in this scene to figure out what SHJ wants from him, what with seemingly looking out for him and his loved ones by lending Sillekia to BYR for fighting HYH, but also still continuing with this "my item" shit and only looking at him for his usefulness. but this instance IS notable in that it's the first time SHJ cooks for HYJ. a slight turning point in their relationship...?
it does seem so cuz after that... HYJ becoming sick of orange- and apple-flavored mana potions because he chugs them so often, and SHJ responding to this in chapter 185 (birthday arc, before HYJ admitted he stole his memories) by acquiring swiss chocolate-flavored mana potions for him. already he's started with the little treats.
and then. sorry i'm feeling the 216 feelings. 1 minute. Okay normal. and then. yes once again it's chapter 216, when SHJ first starts making readably genuine attempts at kindness towards HYJ, starting the entire interaction by making him a drink that "looked like it was just juice, but it was actually sweet. Tasty." normal behavior from SHJ to rent out the entire rooftop pool and bar to show off his bartending skills to HYJ btw.
then the VR dungeon arc, where SHJ can't see HYJ until he installs the first disc, but the moment he does he starts being absolutely unbearable, the relevant part being when HYJ's reached Achates and is stressed out over HYH's treatment to the point of losing his appetite, at which point SHJ sends him the "Must Eat Well" quest to coax him into eating, rewarding him with chocolate-flavored mana potions, which HYJ himself admits remind him of SHJ:
‘But why are they chocolate-flavored?’
It made me think of that person. It had tasted good.
we're told in chapter 249 that SHJ needs to expend tremendous effort to give HYJ quest rewards and that whatever he gives usually gets cut down (he's talking about point conversions there but i suspect it applies to other rewards as well). so to specifically seek out two potions, especially ones he knows HYJ will prefer more than the common fruit-flavored ones... [puts on my large jinjae-shaped sunglasses like that shit they sell for new years]
and ok i jumped ahead to 249 for the rewards thing but come back to 245 with me and look at that series of cooking quests SHJ sent HYJ to guide him through cooking dinner for himself and HYH. copying over my discord messages from when this chapter dropped for this part of the analysis:

but yes the cooking quests. like. okay. I mentioned before [...] that I considered this a jinjae scene chapter because. the layers of it all right. he sees hyj wants to cook for his brother but can't decide what to make/how to make it cuz the decision paralysis is hitting after the longass day he's had. so he goes ahead and picks a meal and gives him step by step instructions. overly specific so hyj doesn't hit some dumb roadblock like "idk where the spatula is" and lose it for real. it took multiple quests to give the instructions it might've been easier to give him a prepared meal from whatever store he's picking these rewards from but he spent that time anyway because I'm pretty sure going through the process soothed hyj. normality after the Everything of it all. and then at the end of it because he Knows hyj is prone to not eating when he gets stressed he baits him into eating with rewards. like. Bro. Bro
like. OUGH. he cares. he cares....

THAT LAST FUCKING QUEST

ok that's enough of that excerpt this is starting to derail from food analysis. wait hold on actually 249's point about the cost of sending quests and rewards makes the cooking quest series even more impactful because how much did SHJ spend to go to that level of detail and care for HYJ!!!
anyway back to food analysis. 256 where HYJ dies to the inscription process and SHJ purposely serves him bitter tea and sweet cookies to point out that he shouldn't take rewards that come at great costs. SHJ you really love communicating things to people through food, huh? but the fact that the second he's understood SHJ takes away the bitter tea and replaces it with something less bitter and more savory. the fact that when the scout finds him, the last thing SHJ does, even after draping his coat over HYJ to protect him from the shards of falling sky, is refill his teacup. the fact that HYJ drinks it and thinks about how it's warm.
GOD!!! do you see my vision. do you see. SHJ and HYJ and cooking and eating as an act of caring. an act of love.
ALSO ANOTHER THING. about HYJ. is that (In Case You Haven't Noticed) he denies himself things. he denies himself a Lot of things. lion-king-style holds up chapter 239's description of how he saves the 10,000 won birthday gift from his parents every year to instead use for HYH's birthday. HYJ has terminal parentification disease where he denies himself everything that he can instead offer to his kids. including things like Preferences methinks. see, at the very start, with that very first gift of chocolates, HYJ mentioned how he didn't particularly care for sweet things. little treats. but he ate half the box. he accepted the sweet mana potions. he liked the sweet cookies SHJ gave him in 256. personally i am very much reading into the fact that SHJ appears to be giving him the space to exist as his own person with his own likes. his own tastes, even. lmao. [BARELY HOLDING BACK TEARS]

SHJ working hard to undo HYJ parentification habits and provoking him into being greedy is possibly the greatest thing about their relationship. Like wdym the greediest guy in the world that wants to possess anything that even possibly pricks his interest is like "yes let me teach this man how to use me properly and express his wants" and he does it so well bc Han Yoojin NEVER feels guilty about asking for or taking things from him because he has a terrible personality and Mariana Trench pockets and so Han Yoojin is just like "you owe me this much for being an annoying bastard" LIKE IM SORRY??? SHJ LITERALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO OVERRIDE TWO DECADES OF SELF SACRIFICIAL PARENTING BEHAVIOR BY *checks notes* BEING ANNOYING???? And the best part is that it's not a front or facade to get HYJ to lean on him, like he didn't start annoying him with the intention of provoking HYJ into expressing what he wanted, he's just naturally such an absolute headache that HYJ had no qualms taking him for all he was worth and then part way through SHJ realized "wait, I actually care about him, and he deserves to have nice things" and turned on Attentive Malewife Mode (TM) to make sure that HYJ could have everything he could ever consider wanting. And then he just... continues. Like atp he had already solidified a relationship in which it was normalized for him to both be annoying as fuck and occasionally pleasant and gift showers were also already quite common so HYJ doesn't even necessarily notice that he's being taken care of half the time. I think it's also really funny bc HYH and BYR are *astutely* aware that SHJ is pretty much the only person HYJ allows to take care of him and just have to deal with it bc that's not a role they can fulfill.
So, Cheeseburger died on November 21st after an unfairly short battle with an unfairly rare cancer that is rarely seen in cats. I only got to spend a month with him after his diagnosis, and losing him has been the greatest heartbreak of my entire life so far. He was my best friend and my soul cat, and he was there for me when I was completely alone, for twelve long years.
I made this transparent PNG the night he died in preparation for one of the many ways I was going to memorialize him--a surface rug in his likeness that I planned on laying directly in the line of his favourite sunbeam. And I uploaded that PNG here, because this is the website where people post their cats.
I was not expecting the reception I got. Many people have pointed out that this post has more reblogs than likes, and how insane that is in 2025 when reblog culture is at an all time low. I didn't even talk about the fact that Burger passed away in the original post, it wasn't a tearjerker reblog bait or anything like that. People just loved Burger that much, in the same way I fell in love with him at first sight. He was such an ugly kitten.
Anyways, it's really special to me that so many people have reblogged my best friend. I made this PNG to memorialize him in a completely different way, and you all wound up doing just that in ways I never even imagined.
