I love how this is just what people think and say about polyam but switched up and applied to monogamy. It's generally rude to say in my opinion, I suppose its fine if you're genuinely curious or uneducated about it but how you phrase it and ask is important. Likeee.... "polygamy is just and excuse to cheat" is lowkey rude and ignorant to what it actually is. We could just as equally say that monogamy is just an excuse to cheat, I mean you only have one partner right? Surely you wouldn't want to be stuck with one partner forever would you? Why not explore things with someone you're not dating, oh wait, thats cheating is it not? Being polygamous means that your partners know your doing this and have talked about it and given their approval, they're on the same page. They are aware of you're looking for another partner, romantic or sexual ones. It becomes cheating when your partners arent on the same page and have not agreed to it. But alas, polygamy is always going to be a lesser known outlier within our world of chaos.
