also lets not beat around the bush. its racism. 95% of weird fandom attitude to foreman is racism. people can come up with 10,000 reasons why they think "foreman is the worst character ever" and most of them will lead back to racism. disliking foreman is fine - but people arent doing that, theyre just being racist

does the non-turkish mc fans know that... a big majority of the cast are big names? like... between 2011 and 2013 everyone was known except meryem. like did you know that deniz cakir is actually famous because she acted as an iconic book character before? that meltem cumbul is also a voice actor? that halit ergenc starred in a series where he would meet his future wife? that nebahat cehre is a famous old turkish movie actress (turkan soray level)? that okan yalabik starred in a series that is considered a young turkish girl's canon event? the woman who gave hurrem a "muska" is a famous comedian? that some of the cameo characters are famous people? that gul aga's actor is a famous comedian? that bayezid's actor was in a famous tv series before MC? that selma ergec is a model? that nur fettahoglu used to be a financial news anchor and stock reporter in 'sky turk' channel? that there's a famous actress singing in the soundtrack? that filiz ahmet was already known in a series with berrak tuzunatac? that firuze and ebussuud actors are respected because the acted in the greatest turkish series ever made (not MC, but a series named "Ezel"), that even mustafa's concubine efsun is actually a well known actres? THAT PRINCESS ISABELLA'S ACTRESS IS ACTUALLY A MINISTER'S DAUGHTER?????? this is only the half of what i listed btw. half of the turkish tv industry was in MC. you might not even care for some of those characters, but they were taken seriously to a turkish viewer. just to clarify it to you that MC had these actors when meryem was just a beginner.
