the last ending to SoI that I know about was that magic wasnât real, the sand was nanomachines and kp came back as a cyborg
also something about a battle in space and time travel thatâs all really fuzzy memories now
also iirc yoglabs was supposed to circle back into soi using a time travel mod and ended up getting canned, forgot about that
donât forget that Testificate md was israphel. And he was actually just following Simon and lewisâs orders so therefore they were there own villains. The plot was awful.

Letâs see if I can rattle my brain for some more details⌠Hmm, itâs a bit fuzzy but ya know
Now where the story left off roughly was in the mechanical beastie and KP was âkilledâ by the green goop leaking all over the place. Of course he wasnât killed he would come back at a later date.
The reasoning behind this was that the goop was a mixture of nanobots, or something to that description, and said nanobots wonât harm it recognises as genetically compatible to the original pilots.
The original pilots were the result of the government in the yog labs timeline actively fighting yoglabs, which had already been established through various hints.
The government eventually retaliated with mechs and specialised infantry task force which had nanobots as part of their outfitting. The nanobots were locked genetically to the task force members, and as it turns out KP is a descendant of one of these task force members.
But Iâm getting ahead of myself. If it wasnât clear, there are two main timelines to be concerned about; The SOI time and the Yoglabs time. They are both in continuity with each other and the yoglabs timeline came before the SOI timeline.
They way in which it was tethered together was through a few of the mod showcases. Such as the time travel mod and the nanobot mod, which were the most important points.
At some stage, Xephos and Honeydew accidentally go forward in time when the government finally assaults the main lab, losing their memories in the process which loops into the first episode of their original minecraft letâs play leading into the main SOI plot line.
Now back to the yoglabs timeline, the two people who were in charge are now gone without any way back, and the lab under attack Testificate MD took it upon himself to effectively run the lab into the ground in an attempt to stop the attack for several years but itâs quite clear how hopeless the situation is.Â
Testificate MD eventually seals himself in one of the stasis pods as the task force uses their nanobots to deconstruct the entire lab into sand.
Skipping forward a good few hundred years to the SOI timeline, the planet has reverted back into a medieval state with the war that the two factions raged creating a technology vacuum as they destroyed each other.
At this stage no one remembers what earth used to be like, and the population of minecraftia is tiny in comparison to what it used to be.
Meanwhile a mysterious being known as Israphel torments the remaining population, and is the harbinger of the sand. As it turns out the sand is infact the nanobots which destroyed yoglabs but converted to be used by Israphel, who is revealed to be Testificate MD after who suffered physically (and likely mentally) due to overexposure in the stasis pod.Â
The sand continued to deconstruct the world for a time before the few remaining residents of Minecraftia constructed a wall to stop it. Which included KPâs grandfather if I recall.
Initially the sand was used to try and destroy the mechâs the government had built but the mechâs had their own special nanobot system that would keep reconstructing them, so effectively there was a nanobot war still raging in the sands.
Fastforwarding to the confrontation originally the series had two possible endings; the first being that the duo would make it to israphel who had daisy captive and there would be moment where either one of the duo would accidentally press a button and just dip israphel into the mech goop, killing him in an entertainly anticlimactic manner as tradition with the yogscast.
The second would have Israphel finally capture the duo and finally speak.
Israphel would tell them that he had been looking for them, and that he couldnât believe it was them and he was testing to see if was them.
He would then go on to ask if he did well in their absence, essentially saying he caused the destruction of Minecraftia because thatâs what he thought Xephos and Honeydew would want.
Of course neither of them remember their past selves and they end up killing israphel, who doesnât fight back because he only wants to do what his masters wanted.
That would then end the SOI plot and then eventually lead over to the Skylord storyline, where Xephos and Honeydew would end up applying to try and become official Skylords at the Skylord academy.
It would involve the two doing various quests, and other characters from the previous series would appear, such as Um bongo who was also applying to become a Skylord. Um bongo was also supposed to be genius and would ace all the tests he was given, possibly as a set up to be effectively a rival to the duo in the classes.

But yeah thatâs essentially how SOI would have ended back in the day, so to all of you who wanted to know what would have happened there you go.Â
