Who doesn't love a megacorpo that has a monopoly over every aspect of life and eventually becomes one of the biggest planet settlers in the universe? I present to you Terminus! the lovely corporation that will definitely 100% no doubt not become the main manufacturer of hound warfare in my personal mechsploitation worldbuilding project :)
I need to get hotter, I pass too many very hot trans women and lesbians just walking down the street in the bay.
I am vain and homosexual.
Not now, kitten, m- da- m- your parental figure is in the middle of a gender crisis
i've compiled some of the funny phrases i like to use into a list of robot friendly additions to your vocabulary for the mechanically inclined
the circuits are saying - i have a gut feeling the circuits are singing - i have a good feeling the sensors are pinging - i just noticed something
that RAM is reserved - i have too much on my plate right now / i have some responsibilities to work on the servos are stalling - i'm feeling very tired
i'm short a circuit - i don't quite understand my batteries are dry - hungry let's grab some fuel rods - let's get something to eat

Being deployed with other hounds is great, and finding them in the hangar and pulling them back into their cockpits to knock them up while we’re both sweaty and hot.
Hey, um, wanna go out in a deployment sometime?
For-for no reason in particular... 👉👈
You could drop a pill in my drink right in front of me and id drink it making full eye contact the entire time with the widest smile on my face

Piloting a mech who’s co-pilot AI is the digitized mind of your KIA older sister who was a little…. obsessive about you. And becoming a binary ghost… hasn’t changed that.
She doesn’t like you even glancing at other pilots or god forbids their mechs.
You are hers.
You don’t need a Handler.
You’ve already got a Mistress.
Terrifying and loyal to the cause.
Linked directly into your nervous system.
And she’s never letting go,
Even when you eventually die… well that just means she gets it really own you.
@mooniestarstruck
yall ever miss your own energy?? like damn wtf happened to me??
Sometimes all a hound needs is an older pilot to get drunk over coms and act like their handler.
Giving them the praise and guidance they wish they could get from their commanding officer.
All the aspects of a parisocial relationship included in this uneasy exchange of power between veteran and a young pilot fresh out of re-education.
What nieve fool she is

Hey are you okay? You’ve been fantasizing about being institutionally abused and dehumanized while hooked up to an iv drip of enough drugs to permanently prevent you from reassociating and having all responsibility taken away from you by a mean lesbian who doesn’t care about your autonomy, again.
Procedure 23 aims to make assets unfit for reconditioning less expensive to deal with via the induction of permanent damage to the subjects' nerves in order to inflict chronic pain. This act by itself would only serve to wear down the assets, as seen in Procedure 16B, but that is not the entire scope of Procedure 23. Instead of focusing in how pain affects the subjects, it is the pain relief that has become the object of study.
When a body is exposed to prolonged pain, it naturally reaches a sort of resistance to it. To deal with that problem, a potent painkiller has been administered to subjects after having experienced constant pain for three weeks, thus relieving their pain and reminding them what it is like to be free from it. The desperation inititally observed after the damaging of the nerves was incomparable to that which took over the assets when the painkillers started wearing off. They got to experience normalcy for about three hours, during which they went through the following cycle of emotions:
At first, they rejoyced. Their painless existance became a source of positive reinforcement.
Then, they understood what would happen when the effect of the drugs ended. Their joy was tainted with anger and fear.
After that, subjects C34 and J3 pleaded for the continued administration of the painkillers, while F18, U88 and C35 experienced a state of mania followed by complete silence.
In the end, as the pain returned, all assets became more pliant, and their response to previously-failed reconditioning became positive.
The only subject unaffected by Procedure 23 was F5. She had been previously tagged as unusable, and her presence in the test was her last chance at redemption.
F5 has been properly disposed of.
god. no matter how much you try to adjust, no matter what tolerance you build and what strategies you have to lessen it's effect, none of that compares to the relief of just. not being in pain anymore. and once the pilots know that they have that option, they won't be able to stop thinking about it. every ache and flare-up is another reminder of what compliance could earn them. really like the abruptness of the final line. it's fitting. poor F5....

We completed the installation of her new breathing system and she looks fantastic. The muzzle keeps her mouth shut and the stitches are healing correctly, so she won't be able to do anything but breathe through her nose. That will augment the natural production of Nitric Oxide in her system, which in turn will make for greater oxygen absortion and distribution. On top of that, we'll make sure to supply her with some more NO in case she needs it, and we'll be monitoring her blood's CO2 to make sure the oxygen percentage supplied to her will be the perfect quantity.
This has proven effective enough in augmenting reaction speeds and procuring a greater capacity for thought in combat-heavy environments, but we have added a safeguard just in case. If this hound were to start hyperventilating, thus disrupting her O2 to CO2 ratios, we can activate a forced respirator which will slow down her breathing mechanically. In that case, the nerves connecting to the diaphragm will lose their independence and become dependant on signals sent by us, which also serves as a tool to control our most unruly assets.
In light of recent comments about puppygirls I encourage everyone to read Jay Szpilka's "What Puppygirls Know?", an academic paper that is actually interested in (and sympathetic towards!) the puppygirl as a figure. It features many images and illustrative examples and is written in a manner that I find more accessible than usual for academic writing.
What Puppygirls Know? The (in)Human Pedagogy of a Trans Feminine Style - Jay Szpilka
This is soooo good, just read it today and damnnn, it put so many of my thoughts and feelings into academic writing>>>>
