He was born into a corporation, one of a relatively small batch of "Freyjan" soldiers bioengineered to pilot mechs. Since his initial founding, he was captured and has been working under any handler willing to make it worth his while. - King demonstrates enjoyment in partnerships with other pilots, however is competitive by nature and demonstrates a superiority complex over other augmented pilots, going out of his way to put them down if it makes himself look better. - Notably, King will randomly seek chances to seize power over handlers who present the chance or loosen their grip either to benefit himself materially/through privilege, or simply to enjoy the power. - King Lynx demonstrates a deep attachment to his mech, Repentant, which is a light frame sporting a melee weapon in one hand, and missiles on one shoulder. The loadout commonly switches between a shotgun and machine gun for a primary, and either a second weapon he can switch off with his melee or a second rack of missiles, citing a disdain for weapons that don't use physical ammunition. - King's combat style is aggressive, close, and has a large focus on keeping pressure. Several of his tactics can be seen to lack self preservation, but he enjoys utilizing this as a chance to test himself and his mobility. King's most common approaches are either a violent charge for melee, a skill he excels at, or to kite and wear down the opponent with well placed bursts of fire and repetitive missile fire. - King holds an affinity for catholic imagery and symbolism, however does not care for religion. This said, he treats his mech with a sacredness, and the machines of others, seeming to be upset when he wins battles easily out of pity for the machine rather than the pilot inside it. He has named repentant after the purpose it holds to him, as he feels through his augmentation he has lost humanity, and aims to prove himself through combat.
