Re: the discourse about how there’s no petitions out in the states about banning DIY HRT for transmascs (because it’s already illegal), I’ve seen people respond “well, that’s different because they didn’t ban T specifically because transmascs take it, it’s because it’s a performance enhancing drug! Are we really truly arguing that a society that sees people AFAB’s bodies as a resource to be protected wouldn’t ban DIY T specifically because of trans people if it wasn’t already. Are we seriously going to try to make the case that governments who will refuse to give you your legally prescribed HRT if you’re pregnant and not allow you to terminate that pregnancy wouldn’t ban DIY T.
