Did someone ask for Caitlyn/Vi fic recs?
(okay to be fair someone literally did, in the notes to another post *cough* @listerbird *cough* so here we go)
This is not a representative sample of the Cait/Vi fics out there, because there's more being posted right now than I could keep up with (hell yeah). Just some of the ones I've read recently!
Yes, they're mostly explicit. I Know What I Like.
you carry my fears (as the heavens set fire) by prettyaveragewhiteshark: Last I checked this was the most-kudos'ed E-rated fic for them, and that doesn't always guarantee quality but this is easily one of my faves. It's about Vi having difficulty with being touched, and slowly allowing herself to be more vulnerable in that way. With Caitlyn's help, obviously. Sweet and hot and character-driven.
By the same author: a hard light to ignite. This one. THIS ONE. I have yelled at so many people about this one. My poor partner included. I also yelled about it on twitter. It's basically episodes four through eight from Vi's POV, and about how she changes, and specifically how she changes because of Caitlyn and her growing feelings for Caitlyn. It's an amazing character exploration. It also goes into what happens in Caitlyn's room after the scene ends in the show--and it's exactly what I hope/think happened, and extremely satisfying. (There's no smutty stuff but there's some graphic violence, in the beginning especially. Nothing you don't already know if you've seen the show.)
Anyway. Back to porny stuff.
gotta be down because i want it all by gnimmish: a little silly but if you like some character stuff and fluff mixed in with your not-super-porny sex, this one has some killer lines, especially near the end. (My partner and I read those lines in character at each other. A+ would recommend.)
Three fics by zoicite: Terms and Conditions: Written after act two. Just short and hot and against a wall. If you have a kink for "if you don't finish in the next thirty seconds we'll get caught" you will probably like this. Pattern Recognition, which is non-smutty hurt/comfort, also written after act two. Glass, which is VERY smutty. Written after act three but takes place early on in the relationship, and it's an amazing story of the two of them exploring what they like doing together--namely, that Vi likes a little pain and being bossed around, and that Caitlyn likes doing it. There's some really relatable awkwardness around asking for what you want when you're worried about freaking out your partner. They both care about each other so much in this!! God, their love just jumps off the screen. Also, there's fisting.
Speaking of fisting! CourierNinetyTwo has a series called In Better Times. Takes place some unknown amount of time after the series ends, with the two of them in a happy long-term relationship. There's three fics: the first one is mostly a fisting scene, the second one involves a hextech dildo blow job, the third one is hextech dildo fuckin'. They're all just super porny and light-hearted, with lots of humor and dirty talk.
Want to read something written pre-Arcane? SolarPoweredFlashlight has a half-dozen Caitlyn/Vi fics written between 2014 and 2018. They're not all explicit, but of the explicit ones most of them have some BDSM (with Caitlyn being the dominant). Heads-up that because they were all written before League confirmed that Jinx and Vi are sisters, in at least one fic Jinx is Vi's ex and it's part of the plot.
