you all have found me at a very "between WIPs" stage of my life. so we're about to be exploring something very interesting. not a consistent fandom to be seen in here.

rules: for every ask i get, i have to write 200-500 words, and i will share a 100 (ish) word snippet. you can send in a request for any of the WIPs below. you're welcome to send one in for more than one! live your life! be nosy! i sure do love to talk! this is not all of them, so if there's nothing that strikes your fancy, TRUST you can ask for many other things.

☆ nothing left for anyone to read and weep: the next fic in the forever is a feeling anthology!! this one's based on most wanted man by lucy dacus (duh) and centers on the way that gabrielle's writing evolved into a way for her to process her budding feelings for xena. i have not yet started this one so whatever you get is going to be the first thing put to paper about this.

☆ god i'm alive (but the whole place is quiet): affectionately known as the bix caleen grief character study. bix returns to mina rau once she leaves the rebellion, and must deal with the realization that no matter how hard she wishes, cassian will not come home. she is now the keeper of his legacy - the legacy of all of ferrix, if she thinks about it too hard.

☆ nobody's soldier: the long-awaited inquisical au. trilla stays with cere, and cal's the one to be picked up and made an inquisitor.

☆ untitled calmerrin enemies to lovers au: in a world where the nightsisters never fall, a young assassin named merrin is tasked with her most troublesome mark yet: a jedi hellbent on entering the tomb of kujet to revive his civilization.

☆ why did you dig me up for this: conqueror xena au! on the battlefield, xena inadvertently dies for gabrielle during a raid. aphrodite brings her back, seeing the potential for love within her - but she remembers nothing of who she is, only that she died for the woman in front of her and that she is meant to know her in some capacity.

☆ untitled kleya/merrin fic: kleya's sent to koboh to recruit an agent known as the desert ghost - none other than nightsister merrin herself.

☆ untitled bishova star wars au: precisely what it sounds like. after a job goes awry, bounty hunter yelena belova must team up with smuggler kate bishop to restore her reputation.

I had a feeling you'd ask about this one which rocks bc I haven't written anything for this wip since MARCH and I read through my draft doc and realized it's like 80% done so thank you! I think I will be completing this one soon. For the record I've posted some of it already.

I just wrote 262 words for this (at my desk on the clock not really I'm unpaid) and then I planned out the rest of the fic so I feel like that counts for something. Here's 104 words, not from anything I wrote today which is probably not the point but when I read back through my draft I really liked this bit so I'm going to share it. (For posterity, what I wrote today was an angry phone call with Mike <3)

Resilience. That's a word that describes Nancy. It's not a very nice word, its one of those words that looks really nice but hides not-so-nice things underneath. People have been calling Nancy resilient for years as some kind of compliment, a testament to her bravery or continuity or consistency. It's a curse, Nancy thinks. Nobody becomes resilient without some sort of suffering. People like Nancy don't spring from the earth, fully formed. They're made.

Brave girl, says the chorus.

ᯓ★ through your eyes chapter 2: kleya marki is adapting to echo base, and perhaps even making some unlikely friends. mon mothma, however, finds something she absolutely should not. (part 2 of a fic that was only supposed to be one big thing, and then somehow got away from me. oops.)

ᯓ★ from you the flowers grow: a hanahaki au. mon mothma's longing finally comes to back to bite her after having spent so much of her life ignoring it. everyone knows something is wrong with the senator, but how much longer can she hide it from everyone?

ᯓ★ untitled goddess au: a sort of fantasy au in which kleya marki is on the run and stumbles across the ruins of the goddess of truth. the goddess is intrigued by kleya, who is so bound by lies and secrecy, but she wants to help their cause nonetheless. also temple smut will ensue much later. that chapter is PLANNED trust and believe.

ᯓ★ untitled fwb au: a 6 + 1 multi-chapter, from the years of 5bby until 1bby/0aby, wherein mon mothma shows up at the gallery stressed and overwhelmed, and kleya marki makes her an offer she's not sure she can refuse... (also technically would be my very first smut fic lmfao. isn't that fun! and also a little nerve-wracking... oh well!)
