Reblogging because I don’t think Dignity was on it last time I saw it.

Dignity is rare on this site. 

Driving a car is like microdosing zombie apocalypse. Whenever you see something human-shaped walking around, you have to keep an eye on it because sometimes it's a survivor who has made it this far by being sharp enough to anticipate potential risks and know how to stay out of harm's way, and sometimes it's a two-legged walking lump of meat with zero concept of self-preservation.

I remember taking one of those ‘almost always—frequently—sometimes—never’ type surveys and got to a question that was like ‘How often have you thought about suicide? Frequently (2-4 times per year)’ and I was like, uh, I’d say more than that but I wouldn’t call that frequent? Like, Jesus fuck when we talk about how ‘how do you know when your experience is NOT normal’ like that fucking hit me. I had no idea that this wasn’t something that was normal. It’s been my life since I was 10, what the fuck? It’s like brushing my teeth at this point.

If you think about it, not wanting to exist or wanting to sleep forever may lead to some behavior that causes you to purposefully neglect important needs. While that may not be a violent suicide attempt, it still may be considered one.

I was today years old when I realized that I was super suicidal in high school and not just extremely depressed but otherwise fine!

Sharing this because… wow I just learnt something about myself. I haven’t had this recently but it’s been a common thing I’ve experienced since childhood…

i swear it would be easier to explain if someone looked over my shoulder and saw me watching porn than to explain some of the posts on my damn dashboard…this being one of them
