I'm sorry for making a sadpost about this. I am so astoundingly worried about the future of this planet. In my lifetime I've seen it shift from "how do we prevent the climate crisis" to "how do we survive the incoming mass extinctions and temperature increases". Maybe I just saw too many doomy things in a row but it's so scary. I just wish I had a future to look forward to. No matter how much I could treat my own depression I can't give the world a happy future. All I can do is cuddle my plushies and try not to think about it, because I'm powerless to change any of it. We're gonna live long enough to see everyone responsible for this die, and the world they leave will be so awful I'll wish I went first.
