But then you get older and realize "Oh, they're kids." And it's like MY BABIES!?!?

Nobody asks either, like "Yeah, they're mature." NO THEY NEED THERAPY WHY IS A TEENAGER IN SPANDEX AND WITNESSING THE WORST OF THE WORLD!?

I love the trope of child soldier/ superhero/ whatever, but can we focus more in media how messed up it is that kids are taking on adult problems and witnessing so much death and pain at such a young age?
