He could look like either Jack or Bruce here, honestly. Both would be correct.

Then you have what’s going on with Clark. A small piece of your family, your people and he doesn’t even know much about them. No fault of his own, he was just a baby, how could he possibly know what he’s lost? But he wears your family crest, and now it’s a great symbol to the ppl of Earth. It still means hope, and because he wears that ppl expect the same thing of you. While you deal with the pain of losing your world, this new strange world where you have new strange powers wants the world of you. Because your cousin considers this his home, he selflessly helps others with his powers and now others want you to do the same. It is not out of malice, he wants his home to be your home too. And to have these incredible powers and do nothing with them seems a waste, so helping others seems the best thing to do. A whole planet expects great things from you, and you have to just swallow this pain.
