Depression comes in all forms and it affects everyone it touches. Three years spent in dedication to one person. And this monster came ripping through. No matter how hard we fought and tried to let our hearts beat it, we were no match. 

I haven't given up on love. But I think I'll have to give up on this love. There is no turning back. Too many bridges have been crossed and burned. We've tried to be each others strength for so long now. But we aren't strong enough together or individually to fight this. 

Three years. I thought I would marry this man. I was okay with marrying the depression because I thought I was strong enough. We planned our whole lives together. We planned our wedding, our kids, vacations, the first car we'd buy together. We had it all.
