also, on a further note of rationalizing feelings; sometimes air moons intellectualize the good emotions too. a fear of feeling genuine happiness or enjoyment in positive situations because we overthink so much and already imagine the feeling, person or moment being ripped away from us. so we get sad in advance, or we detach from people/places/good feelings/etc because we’ve already thought ahead so hard that we’re certain it will end badly. an inability to fully experience the good emotions and feelings as well as the bad.
