My favorite is Gardevoir for three reasons, its aesthetics, it being a very strong special attacker, and that it's a satisfying reward for putting in the effort to find and train a Ralts in RSE

It's a surprisingly difficult pokemon to draw! The "hair" on its head makes it very hard to draw it facing any direction with subtlety, and the head is huge compared to the body, and it has no shoulders, and despite its ladylike looks, it's pretty short. Altogether a pokemon that doesn't look comfortable in any pose

Something very appealing about a pokemon with such a wide range of supporting move also sporting 125 SpA 80 Spd. It's giving "I'm a healer, but". It's giving "your team can't get hurt if the opponents are dead"

Of course my interest is partially spite-based on account of all the horny gardevoir fanart

I played PMD Red several times (never to completion because the difficulty curve was too much for teenaged me) and the sad talk sprite for its gardevoir sucks ass

Love it when official art just have it posemaxxing with Diantha. Like yeah Sylveon is the face of Fairy-type but gardevoir, especially the mega version, just looks cooler

Excellent mega design excellent shiny colors excellent ability options, if you stan gardevoir you can't lose

I'm conflicted on the choice of switching Wally's ace from a gardevoir to a gallade because giving the guy the male-only evolution doesn't look good but I Guess it makes more sense for him to get the more physical-oriented evo considering his character arc
