This was a dream, had to be.Â
Tony glanced around the unfamiliar surroundings, trying to ignore the chill going down the back of his spine.Â
“Is it me, or is something lurking around here?” he asked, not entirely sure that there was anyone who was actually listening.
And– hey, it seemed to work, because movement registered on his radar. He stepped through a nondescript door, the environment melting away around him in the way dreams tended to do … and he found himself in the midst of a battle.
Clearly, this was a yeet or be yeeted situation, and he snapped on his helmet, set his phasers to stun, and started going ham on the enemies. Until he noticed the girl.
“Hey! You! Need a hand here?”
america was knee-deep in kicking butt. she didn’t tire though, she hardly ever did. just kept punching through them until she moved onto the next. there’s no way she’d let them ruin this planet. her head turned when she heard someone call out for her attention. without looking she kicked the one she was dealing with into the distance. “yeah a little help wouldn’t hurt i guess.” she was familiar with his work, i mean really who wasn’t? she recalled seeing him in a few of the dimensions she’d visited over the past years. “this crazy woman made an army of robots and they’re trying to destroy this planet.”
