i'm just thinking about roy remembering jason was the sole witness of jade telling roy about lian. wanting to reach out to jason to tell him the news, to just reassure the kid there was a happy ending to this whole thing. doesn't have jason's contact directly, so he asks titan's tower. maybe he talks to danny while the others are in space, and that's what causes danny to suspect something's off. maybe he asks afters everyone's back on earth. cradling his daughter in his arms as he finds out a child has died.
