moved into my boyfriends mums house again. two days later one of the dogs died. had a spur of I-Must-Get-Back-Into-Film and it hasn't quite fizzled out yet. runner jobs are hard to come by. trying to write new scripts but ideas are hard. maybe i should take something psychedelic. get the inspiration flowing. it's hard to not regurgitate the same things over and over.

learning to drive now. went up to third gear in my second lesson. apparently that's not common? alas. 2026 full licence incoming. ugh the state of uk driving tests is bonkers. my instructor brings his puppy. but the car is too modern and doesn't have a physical handbrake so that's scary.

feeling the cosiness of september starting to settle in my bones. it's still too warm outside to wear a jumper or a proper coat, though, and i do not like that. i only have work on thursday, saturday, and sunday this week so i'm feeling unemployed. it's the dead season now. should probably find another job. but christmas really picks up the shifts, so i'll hold on until then.

going to pets at home soon. my boyfriend's family dog is sick and it's not looking good for her. gonna get her treats and toys and give her lots of cuddles later.

currently addicted to a game i used to play religiously at 11-13 years old, the original was shut down in 2018 and it has been remade (yay). spending a lot of my evenings on there recently.

It's my 10 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

so it's almost 10am, i have my coffee, waiting on the post coffee bathroom trip before i eat my breakfast, and i'm on tumblr. a website that dominated my formative years. as soon as i typed that previous sentence i googled when the formative years were and i was definitely not on tumblr between 0-8 years old. i was 11-13 when i was most active. and my god was i cringe on here.

everything from pre 16 year old me has now been privated because i want this blog to be a fresh start in a sense. i can use it to talk about what i get up to on here because that's not really something i want to talk about at length on somewhere like instagram stories, because even though both accounts are public, nobody really knows me on this one. i want that bit of anonymity and tumblr is the perfect place.
