I’m excited to announce my collaboration with writer and activist Carol J. Adams 📖 Here is the first of five small drawings, commissioned to coincide with the release of the 35th anniversary edition of The Sexual Politics of Meat

The book explores where violence against and domination of women and non-human animals overlaps, and how our liberation is deeply connected

“Dominance functions best in a culture of disconnections and fragmentation,” Carol writes. “Feminism recognizes connections.”

In the first illo I have redrawn the partitioned cowgirl who, in the original poster discussed in the text, is posed next to the question “What’s your cut?”, now using bolt cutters to free chained up dairy industry calves ⛓️‍💥
