He opens all doors and pushes elevator buttons. He goes up stairs behind me so that He can help me if I trip and on the way down stairs, He is in front so if I trip, He can catch me. He assists me with unpacking and hangs up my clothes. I don’t get in or out of a car without His assistance. He washes my hair. He washes my body; He kneels and washes each toe. I stand and wait while He gets my towel so I can dry off. He hand washes my dirty travel clothes so that I can wear them on my return trip. He helps to dress me: necklace, bra, socks, shoes.
When our car is booted (lol yes!!! Because we unknowingly parked illegally) He sees my concern (anguish really) and maintains a cool, calm and reassuring state of mind and sorts things out. When I find out there’s a Cookie Dough Bar miles away, He makes sure I get to visit it even though that is the LAST THING on planet earth He’d put in His mouth (and I know He has tried a lot of strange delicacies)! He serves me my pizza slices and puts the salad on my plate. He pulls out my chair and places my napkin on my lap.
When we walk down the street, I’m on the inside unless He feels uneasy about my safety, then we switch sides. He protects me. When my feet ache from walking all day sightseeing, He massages them before He takes care of Himself. He pays for everything unless I can convince Him otherwise. (Sometimes I’m successful, but rarely). If I want a drink of water or wine, He gets it for me.
When we arrive at the airport, He carries my bags and His. If we are taking different airlines, He escorts me to my gate and gets me settled before He heads off to find His gate. Once He is settled, He calls to be sure I’m ok. He says He’d move mountains for me. He has.
Does that sound like a Dominant to you? It is.
He gets my submission. I allow Him to make decisions. I follow His lead. I trust Him.
We had specific plans and a timeline to follow to be on-time. He suddenly decided that He wanted me. He didn’t ask. He climbed over me and told me to open my legs. Then He offered to get me a towel so He could clean me up. And then we proceeded with the plans we originally made.
