I watched a video last night on Impact Theory with this guy David Bayer. He had a fantastic way of describing what being stuck was and how to break a loop when you are stuck.

Heard Jordan Peterson reiterate this in an interview. He’s brilliant. The little nuggets of wisdom he spouts are always something that hits home with me.

Saw this quote from Tim Ferris’ Tribe of Mentors email. I was just at a point with some clients where I was annoyed, and wanted to tell them to fuck off. Because I didn’t need their business. This made me stop and regroup my thoughts and redirect my actions - which ended up smoothing everything over and getting some really good work out of it- despite my being annoyed, I kept thinking of this quote from Whitney Cummings.

Heard this interesting phrase on a TED X talk from Dr. Neal Barnard. I like the idea the we that can change anything.

When the days get more demanding, deadlines looming, lot’s of moving parts - I remind myself to not only get through the day, but to square off with it and attack it full force. Focus on the small tasks, my checklist. Every check is a mission accomplished. Keeps my mind focused on the elements within my control and makes a big dent in the overall situation.
