There is no such thing as nuance. There isn't even moderation. If you notice a trend then you have to talk about it in the most exaggerated and sensationalistic way. It's actually super duper progressive to talk about subtle biases and tendencies of chauvinism and oppression as though they are absolute universal clear-cut rules (more performatively angry and sensationalist= more woke). If you don't then clearly you're a bigot who doesn't take it seriously because talking about complexity actually means you think it doesn't matter. Things either exist in their most extreme version or they don't exist at all; if you disagree with statements around said most extreme version, that's only because you want to defend it entirely. This is a really good way to understand the world and meaningfully oppose oppression within it. I'm totally not doing this for the sake if cliquish signalling and the rush of self righteous fury
