So, I'm trying to get an aipom in Brilliant Diamond in a premier ball, and the honey trees are being stupid (as they tend to be) so I've also been trading aipom for aipom on the GTS in Home hoping I get lucky and someone gives me one in a premier ball.
I have been traded THREE shiny Aipom so far. And I thiiiink they're all legit? (They don't have the usual trainer names for the hacked ones, and they're all from LA. So.... very possible.)

You know, you see a lot of "person turned into a pokemon" fics and au's, but I don't see many of the opposite. I think it has a lot of room for comedy.

I do think Pokopia is a little bit cringe since it’s REALLY leaning into this Pikachu thing. Like, of course you can do a Pikachu sofa and a Pikachu plush to summon a Pikachu. We get it, it’s the mascot! Some of us are sick of seeing this guy 🙄
i know this has been remarked upon before but it really is hilarious how the whole "ditto keeps the same face when it transforms" thing was originally presented as a failing of one specific ditto in the anime, only for pokemon to immediately realize that being able to slap a ditto face onto literally anything was actually an incredibly strong marketing tool and backpedaling on it so hard that nearly thirty years later we're getting an entire game marketed nearly entirely off the inherent appeal of the ditto face.
