sam drake could hit it. that's it.
i almost forgot how much i miss video games. i've been on study abroad experience and thus haven't properly played in nine months because i don't have my play station here, obviously. watch me get home and don't leave my room for 48 hours at least.
it's so much easier to be part of tv series fandom or movies instead of games in terms of the waiting periods in between. i know tv series nowadays take up to two years between seasons but fucking imagine how long you gotta wait for a new video game to come out. i played the last of us in 2014 for the first time, got so hyped after the playstation reveal in 2016 about part ii and deadass thought it's gonna take max one more year for the second game to come out. bless my naivety.
it's been almost six years since the second game came out. i'm not gonna touch on whether the game needs a third part -- but if we do get one, it's still i think five years away at least considering intergalactic is not even out yet.
thinking back about the epilogue from uncharted 4, i wonder if sam had worked again with nadine and chloe in those -- what sixteen years? or perhaps nadine and chloe became partners that occasionally teamed up with sully and sam?
i hate when people say that because nate's story is done, so is the uncharted universe. then we wouldn't even have the dlc. people opt for cassie to become the next main character of the uncharted franchise but chloe and nadine could def carry the torch now. i particularly enjoyed the insight into their backstory and their respective complicated relationships with their fathers that ultimately got them where they are now.
god, i almost forgot how fucking rich the uncharted universe it.

okay i finally got back to my uncharted lore and specifically lost legacy and first of all i gotta say guys -- nadine, chloe and sam are the better trio. and i'm greedy, i need another dlc; fuck even a whole ass game.
secondly, i was totally for nadine and chloe to just fucking makeout five minutes into the game but the scene where sam grabs her and shields her from orca had my mind spiralling. the most fucking unpredictable people i might start shipping from now on.
i don't care what people say, these three are ideal way to continue exploring the uncharted universe, without milking nathan drake. his story is done, now i need more of these three.
or anything involving nadine ross. god i love laura bailey sm.
this show and everything that comes with it has been dumpster fire for a while now but i still had my hopes for the casting of lev. keep thinking of ian, how much they spoke of wanting to portray lev in the show as well. i'm fucking pissed and saddened because lev's character deserved better.
someone needs to buy harry styles a globe.

listen, i agree i should've write more in the post because it did sound like a rage bait, my apologises. i was really happy regarding his stance and being vocal about disney's shenanigans, but him accepting an invitation by the saudi arabia government is slap in the face. how are you going to argue against disney, but accept invitation from a country that's notorious for persecuting queer people and marginalised communities in general? c'mon.
here's the picture:
here's what saudi arabia's been doing:
Country profile of Saudi Arabia. LGBT people are Saudi Arabia criminalises same-sex sexual activity between men and between women. The gende

Oscar Isaac turning out to be a spineless asshole was not on my fucking bingo card.
lol so edit hereāshould've dropped more information.
Basically, he accepted invitation into Saudi Arabiaāwhich comes as a slap in the face given how vocal he was about Disney's hypocrisy, lgbts rights, the list goes on. Saudi Arabia is notorious for prosecuting queer people, here's just a summary from human dignity trust regarding what Saudi Arabia had done to queer people in 2024:
"Freedom Houseās Freedom in the WorldĀ reportĀ noted that Saudi Arabiaās grand mufti ā the highest official of religious law in the country ā stated that the punishment for same-sex activity is up to five yearsā imprisonment and a fine of $800,000."
So, how are you going to argue about Disney being bunch of hypocritical assholes, defend queer people and then accept invitation from a country that does nothing but makes living a living hell for queer people? Be fucking for real.
seeing people be surprised colman domingo is gay is so funny. do you seriously think a straight man could be that charming or chic or lovely or elegant or talented or
Alfred Tennyson was a victorian poet. He was born fourth of twelve children to a family filled with substance abuse and mental illness. he started writing very young, published his first work at around eighteen.
in college he met Arthur Henry Hallam. who most of the articles i read call him a dear friend as well as 'the most intense emotional experience of Tennyson's life'. so. do what you will with that. not to mention the fact that when Arthur died, at the young age of 22, Tennyson spent 17 years in his grief writing a collection of poems that was put together to create In Memorium A. H. H. about Arthur. in which we get the famous line: 'It is better to have loved and lost/than never to have loved at all'.
like. what i would give for someone to spend 17 years writing a book of poetry just for me?
giggling and kicking my feet.
i've just read "break, break, break" in my victorian lit class and christāthat man was so in love it crushes me. he'd never gotten over his death. he was the guiding light of his poetry.
it is november again which means i am feeling nothing and i am feeling everything
therapist on speed dial kind of like
the last of us fandom never felt more alive as it did during the first season of the show and i sincerely yearn for those days.
