I go crazy everytime they dangle Nu in front of me. He's so cool by far one of the best character designs and such a perfect analogy for being trans. I mean he's based on kintsugi, the art of making something broken beautiful by repairing it. His top surgery scars are literally part of the repair. He's also a REFORMING VILLAIN which makes it 10x better and he's in 2 games for like 1 niche route in both. There's also not a bunch of open trans characters. there are lots of nonbinary ones dont get me wrong but he's the only trans masc whos cannon(as far as it remember) I hope he's in the next game pleaseee

There are sounds of cheers and crying and the two people hug each other as they exchange the flags. The man at the doorway then waved kisses to the crowd within the pride parade.

The Tweet says: "NO YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HE WAS WAVING THE PORTUGUESE FLAG BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE A PRIDE FLAG AND THEY TRADED FLAGS AND HE'S SO EMOTIONAL TO GET HIS OWN PRIDE FLAG I'M EMOTIONALLY RUINED"

For context, apparently they were worried that maybe he's a nationalist because he was waving the Portuguese flag and some nationalists opposing the pride march were waving that flag. But upon interacting with him, it turns out he didn't have have a pride flag and he wanted to wave *a* flag in support of the pride march. So they had an exchange and now he has his own pride flag 😭🥹.

honestly my favorite thing about andor was how important the women were to the rebellion. you don’t have luthen without kleya. their main agents are vel and cinta. you don’t have aldhani without them. you don’t have cassian without bix and maarva. you don’t even have the alliance without mon. none of this exists without the women and that’s so so important.

Also, despicable though she is, the Empire would have missed out on key observations entirely were it not for Dedra. The arrogance destroyed her, but it also was what made her effective for as long as she was able to do her work. She caught things that otherwise went overlooked by (most of) her male colleagues and superiors. Am not justifying her actions or motivations, just recognizing that the dynamic is present.

there’s this term i coined in my friendgroup i call “the charizard effect” and it can apply to anything and everything, but it was born from me explaining my feelings about the pokemon charizard. the term is basically about how overexposure to something be it by corporate shilling or fandom prominence drives me away from really enjoying something bc i’m exposed to it so much against my will i become tired of it. it came to me bc i was ranting about how tpci does not, and cannot stop reinventing charizard, and how it is popular and obtusely included in almost every region, merch, etc in every way possible and it’s highly commodified.

i dont dislike the pokemon charizard, in fact i really like its X form, but i am exposed to so much charizard in my pokemon consumption that i cant be bothered to care for it in any more than in passing. this applies to a bunch of other stuff i’d otherwise be ok with, but i always just call this aversion phenomena “the charizard effect”

making this term has done numbers for me being able to concisely express how i feel abt something. like. its not charizard’s fault i feel this way, im sure i’d feel normal abt it if it was stripped of all this over commodification, but i cannot. hence the name
