And they all smile less in their trailers than Captain Marvel does in hers.

That’s right. Captain Marvel smiles even more than little Peter Parker does, as far as first trailers go.

I’ve seen plenty of women with this body-type, AND this type of face. Plenty. But I guess they aren’t good jack-off material…. so they shouldn’t be allowed to exist. These men will claim she’s not “woman enough" and is just ~“being made into a man”~

Oh, and the MCU version also isn’t showing T&A, or bold lipstick/mascara, and is wearing the same practical outfitting as the male characters…. so of course she’s already an “ESS JAY DOUBLE-YOO” character, or whatever.

So I decided to compare my body to She-Ra’s, because a frequent thing I’m hearing is that she’s “flat-chested”.

I’m a 24 year old woman, seen here with super stylish, totally-adult penguin pants. I make She-Ra look like the bustiest woman alive. I honestly see more sense in the claim that her hips aren’t as wide as most women’s are, and she has broader shoulders.

And, well, shit. I guess women who have narrow hips, or a small ass, or broad shoulders, aren’t “real women.” Just like how I’m not a “real woman” for having a flat chest. I mean, I guess She-Ra’s other big crime here is not wearing lipstick?… and god forbid, having thick eyebrows? (Which a lot of real girls do).

God forbid any of these girls/women get ANY representation at all.

In the end though, it all comes down to demographic. There was a He-Man reboot a while ago, that fans of the original series loved…. but it didn’t do well, because the actual children of 2002– the demographic it needed to appeal to– didn’t like it as much.

Jee, it’s almost as if you gotta appeal to the current generation, not the nostalgic piss-babies.

“Don Cheadle has come to the defense of his “Avengers: Endgame” costar Brie Larson after a video published by body language expert Mandy O’Brien went viral for criticizing Larson’s appearance and behavior during the Marvel movie’s press tour. O’Brien analyzed a joint interview with Cheadle, Larson, and Chris Hemsowrth, referring to the men’s body language as “relaxed” and accusing Larson of being domineering by being “stiff” and “trying to be taller than these gentlemen.”

“She is really trying to dominate them,” O’Brien says of Larson in the video, which has earned over 400,000 views in a week. “I guess in her mind, domination equals acceptance…In reality, submission will get you a lot further in friendship circles than trying to dominate and boss everyone around.”

When Larson says she did her own stunts as Captain Marvel, O’Brien slams the actress for being “unprofessional” and immature. Larson is also accused of giving Hemsworth “bedroom eyes,” which apparently means she needs Hemsworth to “validate her” by thinking she’s pretty. The video is both disgraceful and nonsensical, which is why Cheadle put the clip on blast in social media posts calling out O’Brien.

“You should see my ‘body language’ right now,” Cheadle said. “This is some of the funniest stuff i’ve ever heard. Brie was trying to keep her ponytail behind her because her hair stylist kept flying in and fixing it. She’s actually being over accommodating. Amazing.””

Anyway this is a good time to remember that body language experts aren’t a real thing because body language is personal and ambiguous, this woman is just a sexist pig and Don Cheadle is awesome.

Tomorrow is also a week after Mahsa Amini’s passing. In Muslim and Iranian culture, the friends and the family of the departed gather together again a week after their passing.

The people of Iran are no doubt going to protest tomorrow. They are going to mourn the loss of Mahsa and the many lives lost during this past week.

The government will try to derail this again. They will burn copies pf the Quran, and the Iranian flag and they will yell disrespectful things about Islam and then they will claim that all of that was done by protesters. They have done this before. About 13 years ago, after a long period of protests against the government, when they where unable to stop people, the government burned copies of flags with Imam Hossein’s name during the month of Moharram. They said that the protestors had disrespected Islam and so they used that as an excuse to slaughter people. They killed them in most violent ways. Mass slaughter. The protests stopped immediately.

Don’t let this happen again please. Do not they believe the shit they will inevitably feed you. Stand by Iranians. Know that standing by Iraninas will in no way mean that you are standing against Islam or any religion for that matter.
